There was my love,
Whom I loved so dear,
Her photo was one thing,
I always kept near.
cause I never got to meet her,
Never held her close to me,
But I loved her so dear
Her photo was all I could feel and see.
I had a dream of her,
In which she was with me.
And I held her tender hands so dear.
She was all I could see.
Then dream went away,
And I treasured it as a memory,
And I will treasure it till the day,
When she will come to me.

Ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put.
